Truffles Round 1

I am feeling ambitious this year, so I started the Christmas treats today. Truffles, which will be frozen until closer to Christmas--to be sure to keep them safe...from ME. :)

First up Oreo Truffles, so easy and absolutely delicious.

1 container of cream cheese (I used "better than cream cheese" non-dairy)
1 1/2 packages of oreo cookies


First place the oreos (I did it in 4 batches) in a food processor and blend until it becomes fine crumbs.  Place about 3/4 of the crumbs in a mixing bowl (saving the other 1/4 for rolling).






Add cream cheese.








Mix well.










Form into balls and roll in the remaining cookie crumbs.

You can add a drizzle of white chocolate for a "fancier" finish.
